A few cases have emerged that show gas leakage around the primer. These were fired on 27/06/2015 when temperatures were warm, but they are expected to rise - significantly. Less than 2 weeks from now hundreds of rifles will start feeding on GGG Imperial for the first time and the temperatures might be in the low to mid 30s (90s).
What has been seen so far is a very limited problem, but some rifles are sure to have problems particularly if the weather predictions bear-out. Last time we saw this issue it took fast action to salvage the meeting. Let's hope this is just an isolated incident, but equally, that there's a contingency plan in place in case it isn't.
